Yemen’s Governor Collaborates with King Salman Aid Center to Empower Orphans

In a significant development, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, the governor of Yemen’s Hadhramaut governorate, held a meeting with delegations from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the Charity Society for Orphan Care in Riyadh (Ensan). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss joint projects aimed at supporting and empowering orphans in the governorate. The projects, based on a well-defined strategy and under the supervision of KSrelief, are set to make a positive impact on the lives of orphans in Yemen.

Last January, Ensan obtained the license from KSrelief to engage in humanitarian and relief activities beyond Saudi Arabia, as part of KSrelief’s commitment to uplifting volunteer work abroad. This partnership signifies the concerted efforts to extend assistance and support to orphans in Yemen.

Furthermore, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), visited Aden General Hospital on Saturday to oversee the ongoing humanitarian, relief, and development projects carried out by KSrelief in Yemen. During the visit, a presentation was conducted at the hospital’s exhibition, shedding light on the nature of the relief and development projects that have been successfully implemented in Yemen. These projects, totaling 828 in number, have been instrumental in improving the conditions in the country.
In another act of benevolence, KSrelief distributed 120,800 tons of food parcels in Yemen’s Al-Mahrah Governorate, benefitting 7,903 individuals. This humanitarian effort comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to reaching and assisting the most vulnerable communities in Yemen.

The collaboration between Yemen’s governor, KSrelief, and Ensan holds tremendous promise in transforming the lives of orphans in the Hadhramaut governorate. By implementing joint projects that focus on empowerment and support, these initiatives aim to provide a brighter future for the orphaned children of Yemen.
