A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable in Hyderabad has been hailed as a hero after saving the life of a woman passenger who was at risk of falling under a running train. Constable K. Sanitha demonstrated exceptional presence of mind when she noticed the passenger attempting to board the moving train. As the train picked up speed, the passenger was at risk of falling in the gap, whereupon Sanitha rushed to save the passenger’s life, pulling her out and averting potential tragedy. The lifesaving action was caught on a video clip which has since gone viral on social media. This year alone, RPF personnel risking their lives have saved the lives of two passengers under the ‘Jeevan Raksha’ mission.
