Ukraine Ensures Safe Grain Exports with Temporary Black Sea Corridor, First Ships Arrive After Russia’s Withdrawal

Two cargo ships have arrived at a Ukrainian port using a temporary Black Sea corridor established by Kyiv after Russia withdrew from a wartime agreement designed to ensure safe grain exports. The Palau-flagged bulk carriers, Aroyat and Resilient Africa, docked at the sea port of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region, marking the first civilian cargo ships to reach the Odesa ports since Russia exited the grain deal. Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister, Oleksandr Kubrakov, stated that the two ships will be delivering approximately 20,000 tons of wheat to Africa and Asia.
