Speedemissions CEO Rich Parlontieri will be presenting at Pace University’s Innovation Day, where he will announce a $100,000 grant for a climate tech solution. The event, organized by Pace University’s Lubin School of Business, aims to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship in technology. Parlontieri is excited to participate and share his experiences as a technology entrepreneur.
Pace’s Entrepreneurship Studio (PES) has partnered with Speedemissions for the grant. PES connects students and alumni with industry leaders and professionals to help develop their startup ventures. The program provides resources, mentorship, and a personalized roadmap for aspiring entrepreneurs.
During his presentation, Parlontieri will discuss PROJECT PLANET USA, a collaboration between Speedemissions and Pace University. The project aims to award a $100,000 grant, including cash and professional mentoring services, to a college or grad school innovator who has developed a tech solution to combat climate change and restore the health of the planet. The competition is open to college underclassmen and graduate students.
