In his message, JaPa Chairman GM Quader acknowledged Ahmed’s significant contributions in modernizing newspapers, referring to him as a symbol of fearless journalism. As a successful businessman, Ahmed played a vital role in the country’s prosperity. Furthermore, his literary works enriched Bangali literature, earning him a distinguished reputation.

After his passing at 7:15 pm on Monday, the first namaz-e-janaza (prayer) will be held at Dhanmondi Road 7 Mosque following the Zuhr prayer. The second janaza will take place at Gulshan Azad mosque after the Asr prayer on Tuesday. Subsequently, the esteemed entrepreneur will be laid to eternal rest at Banani Graveyard, according to family sources.
