Rapper Ugly God has finally spoken up about the serious allegations surrounding the murder of his best friend’s father. After months of silence, the artist took to social media to address the situation, although his posts have since been deleted.

On August 7, Ugly God made a couple of posts on X (formerly known as Twitter), reaching out to Gillie Da Kid and Wallo, hosts of the popular podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game, requesting their help in sharing the facts of the case.

The controversy began in Gulfport, Mississippi, on June 29 when 51-year-old Renaldo Delavallade was fatally shot while sitting in his vehicle. According to a relative of the victim, an argument had taken place at the residence shared by Delavallade and Ugly God’s mother. The relative alleged that Ugly God, real name Royce Cornell Davison-Rodriguez, shot Delavallade four times as he attempted to drive away from the tense situation. It was also claimed that Ugly God is currently free due to his uncle’s position as a judge in the city.

While the artist has not provided any detailed statements or explanations regarding the allegations, a TikTok clip shared by one of the victim’s family members claimed that Ugly God had been released on the grounds of self-defense.

The case has sparked intense interest and divided public opinion. Ugly God’s decision to break his silence on the matter has only added to the discourse surrounding this tragic incident. People are eager to hear his side of the story, and the rapper’s posts have left fans and critics alike with more questions than answers.

As the investigation into Renaldo Delavallade’s untimely death continues, both Ugly God’s reputation and the personal relationships within the community are under scrutiny. The outcome of this case will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the future of the rapper’s career and his standing in the music industry.

It remains to be seen how Ugly God will further address these allegations and whether he will provide a more comprehensive statement to shed light on the events of that fateful day in Gulfport. As the situation unfolds, the public and the hip-hop community eagerly await updates and seek justice for the loss of Renaldo Delavallade’s life.
