Person Fatally Shot in Indianapolis Disturbance: Breaking News from Near-Northwest Side
In a tragic incident on the near-northwest side of Indianapolis, a person has died as a result of a gunshot wound following a disturbance on Thursday night. Indianapolis police were called to the scene after reports of a weapon being involved.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the disturbance around 10:50 p.m. in the residential area of the 600 block of Eugene Street, located south of the I-65 interchange for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
Initially, the individual who was shot was listed as being in critical condition. However, shortly thereafter, a police spokesperson confirmed the unfortunate news of the person’s demise.
