One person has tragically lost their life, and three others, including an infant, have been injured in a devastating two-vehicle crash in O’Hara Township. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Freeport Road near Powers Run Road.
According to Allegheny County police, emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a Chevrolet driven by a 68-year-old woman, with a 74-year-old man as the front passenger. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital. The woman remains in critical but stable condition.
The second vehicle involved in the collision was a Jeep, driven by a 28-year-old woman who had an infant in the back seat. Both the driver and the infant were rushed to local hospitals and are currently listed as being in stable condition.
