A recent bombshell report regarding the origins of the COVID-19 virus strongly suggests that the virus did escape from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, a theory many conservatives have held from almost the beginning. This report was covered in Wednesday’s edition of Fox News Channel’s Special Report, but unsurprisingly it was ignored by the big three evening news broadcasts.
ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News led with the weather, while NBC Nightly News featured coverage of the indictment of Daniel Penny, the good Samaritan who subdued a violent felon on a New York City subway and prevented a possible violent incident.
However, the Special Report claimed that a new report on the online platform Substack found that scientists at the lab in Wuhan were the first COVID-19 patients in the fall of 2019 while conducting controversial gain of function research.
The report also revealed that the nonpartisan government accountability office released a new report that found U.S. taxpayer dollars flowed to Chinese entities, including the Wuhan lab, ahead of the COVID-19 outbreak.
While the report exposed critical information that contradicted official narratives, many mainstream networks omitted this information from their broadcasts.
ABC had Prudential, CBS featured Aleve, and NBC displayed Salonpas, which may have influenced their omissions. Despite the lack of coverage, the information presented in the Special Report is essential in providing a comprehensive understanding of COVID-19’s origin.
