MEA Urges Indians: Avoid Travel to Iran & Israel

New Delhi, April 12 – India has issued a travel advisory for its citizens, urging them not to travel to Iran and Israel till further notice as tensions escalate in the region. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) advised all Indians not to travel to the two countries and recommended those currently residing in Iran or Israel to register themselves with Indian Embassies and exercise caution for their safety. The advisory comes amidst heightened security concerns in the area, with several other countries also cautioning their citizens against travel to the region. France has advised its nationals to avoid visiting Iran, Lebanon, Israeli or Palestinian territories in the coming days due to safety reasons.
