The LPGA Tour has been left out of the recent LIV Golf deal, but there is a possibility that some women golfers may jump ship to the Saudi-backed league. LIV Golf, propped by Saudi Arabia‘s sovereign wealth fund, is an upstart golf league that may consider adding a women’s tour. Despite Saudi Arabia‘s troubling history when it comes to women’s rights, the LPGA may still be open to considering any kind of offer that could inject a financial boon to the tour. Several LPGA players have expressed interest in potentially moving to LIV Golf, but there have been no firm plans for a women’s version of LIV at this time.
