Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has criticized the BJP and the Central government over the deteriorating law and order situation in the national capital, following a recent robbery incident near Pragati Maidan. Kejriwal accused the Central government of lacking solid plans to curb crime and improve law and order. He also highlighted another theft case in a market where the lock was broken to steal valuable goods. Kejriwal stated that calling meetings to discuss the issue is merely a formality that won’t accomplish anything. He called for a focus on improving law and order and cited jungle raj or lawlessness in the national capital, adding that people are feeling insecure. Kejriwal blamed the BJP and L-G for hindering the Delhi government’s development work, and urged them to let him do his work instead of wasting time blocking clinics and water supply. He proposes that if the BJP fails in its duty, it should hand over law and order to the Delhi government so that they can make it the safest place.

The chief minister made these statements during the inauguration of EV charging stations at Delhi’s GTB Nagar while addressing the media. He wondered why the law and order situation in Delhi deteriorated so suddenly, making people feel insecure. Kejriwal called the jungle raj a political stunt by the BJP since the party is trying to stop his development campaign in Delhi. He urged people to join the campaign to improve the living standards of the country and fight against the jungle raj.

However, the BJP and other political leaders believe that the Delhi government has failed to maintain law and order and the situation is worse than ever. BJP spokesperson RP Singh stated that people of Delhi are frustrated with Arvind Kejriwal’s government because they have not provided any security to the residents. Further, he added that claiming the central government to be the sole reason behind the law and order situation is typical of the Aam Aadmi Party’s style of politicizing everything.

In conclusion, while the Delhi Chief Minister blames the BJP and Central government for the deteriorating law and order situation in the national capital, the opposition believes that the Delhi government itself is responsible for maintaining law and order. It remains to be seen how the situation is resolved in the coming days.
