Inclusive Event Honors Agents of Change at 11th Annual First Ladies Luncheon and 3rd Sustainable Goals Banquet
London, September 25, 2023 – The Human Kind Institute (HKI) and Fashion 4 Development (F4D) recently hosted two prestigious events during the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The 11th Annual First Ladies Luncheon and the 3rd Annual Sustainable Goals Banquet brought together world leaders, first ladies, diplomats, and prominent climate change activists to recognize and celebrate the work of Agents of Change who are making a positive impact on various global issues.
The events, hosted by HKI and F4D, aimed to promote sustainable economic growth and support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Both organizations presented medals of honor to individuals who have made significant contributions in addressing food security, extreme poverty, education, environmental conservation, women’s empowerment, and the well-being of children.
The Human Kind Institute, founded by Lola Tillyaeva, seeks to unleash human creativity and imagination by bridging the gap between art, technology, spirituality, and science. With a focus on well-being and sustainable lifestyle practices, HKI aims to foster positive change by encouraging evolutions in education and inspiring healthy mindsets.

F4D, established by President Evie Evangelou, works in collaboration with the United Nations to support the Millennium Development Goals. Through its global awareness campaign, F4D promotes the healing power of arts, creativity, and cultural preservation.

The 3rd Annual Sustainable Goals Banquet, held on September 18, 2023, in New York City, centered around the theme Healthier People, Healthier Planet. The evening commenced with opening remarks by Mayor Eric Adams, followed by speeches from Evie Evangelou and Princess Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein. Lola Tillyaeva presented the Human Kind Awards, and a tribute was paid to the late Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief of Italian Vogue.
F4D’s 11th Annual First Ladies Luncheon took place on September 19, 2023, coinciding with the opening day of the UN General Assembly. Co-hosted by Evie Evangelou and Princess Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, the luncheon highlighted the legacy of Queen Elizabeth II and featured a fashion show by designer Mirela Nurce of Tonni86 Couture.
The events attracted dignitaries, royalty, diplomats, philanthropists, and fashion industry VIPs, emphasizing the collaboration between diplomacy and fashion. Notable honorees included philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, designer Thebe Magugu, CEO of Hugo Boss Daniel Grieder, and President of S&P Global Market Intelligence Martina Cheung.
