House Committee Accuses James Biden of Transferring $40K to Joe Biden from Chinese Funds

In a recent development, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman, James Comer, has alleged that James Biden, brother of President Joe Biden, transferred $40,000 to the president from Chinese funds. The committee claims that this transfer was labeled as a loan repayment and was made shortly after James Biden received funds from Hunter Biden, related to China’s CEFC.

According to the memo released by Comer, the 2017 transfer from James Biden and his wife to the president is linked to the same business deal in which Joe Biden was referred to as the big guy and was expected to receive a 10% cut. If proven true, this would be the first instance of the commander-in-chief receiving foreign income from his family.

The Oversight committee describes the transaction as a complicated financial transaction that occurred just weeks after Hunter Biden, the president’s son, threatened a CEFC employee in a text message. On September 3, 2017, Joe Biden allegedly received a check labeled loan repayment from his younger brother, who collaborated with Hunter in this venture.

Chairman Comer, in a video posted on Twitter, highlighted the contradiction in Joe Biden’s previous statement that his son didn’t make money in China. He stated that not only did Joe Biden lie about Hunter making money in China, but also revealed that $40,000 in Chinese funds found its way into the president’s bank account in the form of a personal check.

Bank records obtained by Comer this year indicate that CEFC paid a staggering $6.1 million to Hunter and James Biden in the years 2017 and 2018. It is worth noting that approximately $1 million was paid shortly after Joe Biden left office as vice president. The remaining funds were transferred within 10 days of Hunter’s threat, invoking his father.

In March 2017, a $5 million wire payment was routed to Hudson West III, a joint venture established by Hunter Biden and CEFC associate Gongwen Dong, according to the committee’s description of the document.

However, the White House dismissed Comer’s claims, with spokesman Ian Sams calling them lies and conspiracy theories that are becoming increasingly desperate.

The memo concludes by stating that the House Oversight Committee will continue to track the money and hold President Biden accountable for any potential corruption.

As more details emerge, it remains to be seen how this latest allegation will impact the Biden administration. Stay tuned for further updates on this story.
