Jason Carter, the chairman of the Carter Center and President Carter’s grandson, recently shared with USA Today that both Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter are coming to the end. Since February, Jimmy Carter has been under hospice care at their home in Plains, Georgia. Rosalynn Carter, on the other hand, was diagnosed with dementia in May.
Despite their health challenges, the couple remains together, at home, and deeply in love. Jason Carter expressed that it’s a perfect situation for them during this stage of their lives. The Carters celebrated their remarkable 77th wedding anniversary on July 7th.
