What is even more alarming is the lack of transparency surrounding this incident. The Army has not disclosed the race or any identifying information about the vandals, nor have they provided updates on the progress of the investigation. This silence raises suspicions about whether the Army is dealing with white supremacists within its ranks or if these incidents were orchestrated to sow racial divisions, akin to the infamous Jussie Smollett case.
The Army’s failure to address these issues promptly and transparently is concerning. Given the ongoing efforts to remove white supremacists from the military, one would expect the Army to swiftly announce the race of the vandals and take appropriate disciplinary action. However, their silence only fuels speculation and erodes trust among the soldiers and the public.
In a statement made by Maj. Tim Watts, a spokesperson for the 1st Cavalry Division, the Army acknowledged that these acts of vandalism contradict its values and standards of conduct. Nevertheless, the statement failed to address the crucial questions surrounding the race of the soldiers involved and the disciplinary actions being taken.
