NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The greatest risk of severe weather today will be between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m.
A few showers will develop this morning across parts of the Mid State, but nothing that should cause problems early in the day. Scattered strong to severe storms will likely develop in the afternoon and evening as a strong cold front approaches the area.
Damaging wind gusts and heavy rain remain the highest threats with any storm. But we could even see some 1” hail and a few tornadoes will be on the table as well.
