A viral image circulating on social media claiming to show a massive crowd of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings fans has been debunked as false. Vishvas News conducted a fact-check on the post and found that the image was actually taken in Gran Canaria, Spain. The Facebook page ‘Garv Se Kaho Hum Hindu Hai’ posted the image with a caption that read People are more crazy about Dhoni than the match, but this claim was proven to be incorrect. The original picture was found on a Spanish website called marca.com, with the caption revealing it to be a photo of thousands of fans gathered outside the Gran Canaria stadium to welcome the UD Las Palmas team. The Facebook page that shared the false image is followed by 4,800 people and operated from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is important to fact-check images before sharing them on social media to avoid spreading false information.
