Exeter Chef Lee Frank Named Semifinalist for Best Chef in Northeast

Frank, who was regarded as a culinary pioneer in Exeter, expressed his shock and honor upon receiving the nomination. Known for his Modern Americana five-course tasting menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, Frank has played a significant role in elevating Exeter’s culinary scene. As the only chef from New Hampshire on the list, he feels both surprised and humbled, recognizing the talent of his fellow chefs in the Granite State. Despite the pressure that comes with being a semifinalist, Frank remains committed to maintaining the high standards of his restaurant and representing his community. Exeter chef Paul Callaghan of Vino e Vivo was also listed as a semifinalist for the award last year, further solidifying the town’s reputation as a food destination.
