Beloved Brunswick Resident Marguerite D. Smith Passes at 92, Funeral Services to be Held at East Brunswick Baptist Church
Marguerite D. Smith, a cherished resident of Brunswick, sadly passed away at the age of 92 on August 16, 2023. Born on May 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Blanche Atwood. Marguerite was predeceased by her son Danny Smith and her four siblings. Despite these losses, she is survived by her loving son Paul and his wife Leeann, son Ronald, and daughter Tammy Carter and her husband Shawn. Marguerite also leaves behind her beloved kitty, Ellie Mae.
Throughout her life, Marguerite pursued various careers, but her true passions were her family, friends, church, music, fishing, and reading. She found immense joy and fulfillment in these aspects of her life and was known for her warm and friendly demeanor.
Funeral services to celebrate Marguerite’s life will be held at the East Brunswick Baptist Church, located at 83 Farley Road, Brunswick. The services will take place on Saturday, August 26, at 2 p.m. This will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to come together and pay their respects to a remarkable woman who touched many lives.
