Nigerians living abroad will be included in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, according to his spokesman, Mr Dele Alake. Speaking at a pre-democracy day news conference, Alake expressed President Tinubu’s gratitude for the contributions made by Nigerians living in the diaspora. Through his efforts, Nigerians in the Diaspora registered as voters and travelled down en-masse to the country to demonstrate their commitment by ensuring they voted on election days, so we thank you very much, said Alake. He added that the administration would recognise the contributions of Nigerian expatriates across the globe, and include them in the government structure. Alake also praised the work of Ade Omole, Director of Diaspora Directorate of the defunct APC PCC, for ensuring the success of the Tinubu-Shettima presidential ticket. Nigerians living abroad play a vital role in transferring cash back home and are known for their work, investments, and education around the world, Alake said.
