Arrested Activist Faces Charges for Threatening to Kill Doctor, Prompting Urgent Action
In a recent development, authorities have arrested an individual identified as Tafsirul Islam, an active member of Chhatra Shibir, for making death threats against Dr. SM Mustafa Zaman. Dr. Zaman is the physician of convicted war criminal and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee. It was discovered that Tafsirul operated two Facebook groups called Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Dwariapur, Maheshpur#Tafsirul Islam and Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Dwariapur, Maheshpur@Tafsirul Islam, where he orchestrated his malicious activities.
The arrest of Tafsirul has brought relief to the family of Delwar Hossain Sayedee, who expressed their satisfaction with the treatment he received.
