ABC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, has announced a series of wide-ranging changes as it seeks to adapt to the digital future of the media industry. The broadcaster is aiming to ensure that by 2028, the majority of its audience engagement will take place on digital platforms. The measures were designed to address rising costs and support a more digital-first approach. Simply.TV has also announced its expansion into the Australian, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific markets with the help of A.I. global metadata provider Ernest Ng, who joins as Senior Vice President. Several other media outlets have also made changes, including Hatched, which has appointed Raeshem Chail as the new People & Culture Manager.
