A tutor and budding music composer have been arrested by Delhi Police for the murder of a 73-year-old woman and her daughter in the Krishna Nagar area of Delhi. The accused, Kishan and Ankit Kumar Singh, were found to have planned to loot the victims, giving their plan the name ‘Mission Malamal’ on WhatsApp. Ankit, who has a substantial following on Instagram, was a composer for a soon-to-be-launched OTT film. After the murder on May 25, both accused fled Delhi but were later traced by police after analyzing call detail records and gradually zeroing in on their location. The two are believed to have gained the trust of their victims before attacking them with knives and stealing from their home. Ankit changed his T-shirt to remove blood stains before leaving the house, and the two locked the door from outside as they fled the scene.
