Ariana’s dreams of representing her country in the upcoming 2023 Miss Latin America and 2023 Miss World pageants were shattered when she lost her life in a car accident while driving in Lake Nona, Florida. According to her grieving mother, Ariana had been driving while excessively tired due to a heavy workload. She fell asleep, she was very tired, Ochoa revealed during an interview with Telemundo. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, Ariana suffered a heart attack. Tragically, as she was being prepared to be transferred to intensive care for further treatment, she passed away.

Ariana’s father, who resides in Peru, applied for a humanitarian visa to join his family in the United States following this devastating loss. Unfortunately, the visa was granted only a day after his daughter’s funeral, adding to the heartbreak and sadness.
