He had been a state trooper for five years, serving at the Troop K barracks in Philadelphia. Prior to his service in the police force, Gray was a Green Beret in the US Army Special Forces, where he served in Iraq and the Philippines. This information was shared by a colleague on the crowdfunding platform FundTheFirst.com, where efforts to raise funds for Gray’s wife and daughter have already surpassed $100,000.

Survived by his wife Emily Chau, his young daughter Charlotte, his father Frank Gray, as well as Lauren McRae (Chris), and his nieces and nephews Brynn, Brooke, Colin, and Caden, Gray will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.

To pay their respects and honor Gray’s life, calling hours have been scheduled for Friday, January 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at Our Lady of Grace Church in Penndel. A memorial service will follow the calling hours. Gray will be laid to rest at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

This heartbreaking loss has deeply affected the community, prompting an outpouring of support. The crowdfunding campaign organized to assist Gray’s wife and daughter surpassing the $100,000 mark demonstrates the community’s commitment to standing beside the family during this difficult time.

The legacy Gray leaves behind, as both a state trooper and a dedicated family man, will not be forgotten. His selfless service and commitment to protecting the community will always be remembered and cherished.

The news of Bryan Gray’s untimely passing serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers and the impact they have on their communities. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family, friends, and colleagues during this time of grief and loss.
