Around 100 diplomatic dignitaries from 55 countries, including ambassadors and members of parliament, have been invited to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on January 22nd. Swami Vigyananand, the founder and global chairman of the World Hindu Foundation, made the announcement on Sunday.
The prestigious event will witness the enshrining of Ram Lala, the deity of Lord Ram, and has received international attention with invitations extended to country heads from various nations. Notably, Queen of Korea, who claims to be Prabhu Sri Ram Vansaj, has also been invited.
The list of invited countries includes Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Botswana, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Dominica, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Guyana, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mexico, Myanmar, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Sierra Leone, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Sweden, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies, Uganda, UK, USA, Vietnam, and Zambia.
The VHP Joint General Secretary, Swami Vigyananand, who is responsible for the organization’s international affairs, confirmed the participation of country heads in the Ram Temple event. He also stated that all the VVIP foreign delegates will arrive in Lucknow on January 20 and then head to Ayodhya on January 21st.
Given the weather conditions and possible fog, the delegates have been requested to arrive in India ahead of the event. Swami Vigyananand expressed regret that they had to limit the number of overseas guests due to space constraints in Ayodhya.
Meanwhile, preparations for the grand temple opening are in full swing. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has scheduled the sacred installation of Ram Lalla at noon on January 22nd. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will begin a week prior, on January 16th.
The highlight of the event will be the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, who will lead the ceremonial installation of Shri Ram Lalla inside the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. On Friday, PM Modi announced an 11-day special ritual called ‘anushthan’ preceding the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya.
With the presence of esteemed dignitaries from around the world and people from various backgrounds, the Ram Temple event in Ayodhya promises to be a momentous occasion. The ceremony will not only be a significant religious event but also a symbol of unity and harmony among nations.
