Polish Bus Route 666 Diverts Route After Accusations of Promoting Satanism

Poland’s PKS Gdynia bus company has changed the name of its problematic bus route 666 after religious conservatives claimed it spreads satanism. The route to Hel in northern Poland has been changed to 669, but could revert to its original number if demand is high enough. The Bible identifies 666 as the number of the beast. The bus company has bowed to pressure from conservative groups who claimed the route was promoting satanism. While many are unhappy with the decision, the name change will remain for now.
