The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) recently showcased its initiatives in financing renewable energy projects at a three-day exhibition, Intersolar Europe 2023, held in Munich, Germany. The organisation’s pavilion provided an educational platform for visitors to learn about IREDA’s support of renewable energy projects in India, promoting energy efficiency, and impacting the growth of the sector.
In addition to educating visitors, the pavilion also offered networking opportunities with IREDA for discussing potential business ventures, especially with the ongoing energy transition and initial public offering (IPO) plan for IREDA. The IREDA Pavilion served as an exceptional platform for engaging global stakeholders, exchanging ideas, and investing in renewable energy with sustainable development practices.
IREDA Chairman and Managing Director Pradip Kumar Das stated, Intersolar Europe provided a valuable opportunity for IREDA to showcase our accomplishments and expertise in ‘renewable energy financing’ domain. It allowed us to engage with global stakeholders to foster collaborations, exchange ideas and drive the transition towards a greener and more sustainable future.
At the exhibition, team IREDA held meetings with KfW Development Bank and Commerz Bank, Germany, to explore collaborative opportunities that focus on new and emerging renewable energy technologies. Additionally, IREDA officials visited RCT GMbH at Konstanz and discussed the technology, milestones, and capital & operating expenditures for their global operations. RCT GMbH is their technology provider for their Indosol solar manufacturing project.
IREDA’s participation in Intersolar Europe 2023 highlights the organisation’s commitment to the global renewable energy landscape and the sustainable development practices for a greener future. Through shared efforts and innovative solutions, IREDA continues to play an impactful role in India’s renewable energy goals and addresses the challenges of climate change.
