Beloved Wife and Mother Mourned After Passing Away at Foyle Hospice – Donations Made in Her Memory
Strabane, Northern Ireland – October 22, 2023 – The Foyle Hospice community and the Carlin family are grieving the loss of Angela Carlin, a beloved wife and mother who passed away on October 22, 2023, at Foyle Hospice. Angela, formerly known as Angela Bonner (née Broaders), resided at 11 Lisnafin Park in Strabane and was originally from New Ross, Co. Wexford.
Angela was deeply cherished by her late husbands, Vincent Carlin and Andrew (Day) Bonner, as well as her children Shaun, Andrew, and Sharon. She was a cherished grandmother to Emma, Hayley, Jessica, Patrick, Thomas, Kian, Ryan, and Skye. Angela was also a loving sister to Joe, Eddie, and the late Christopher and Margaret.
The community is invited to pay their respects to Angela at her home on Monday, October 23, starting at 5 p.m. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 25, with a Requiem Mass taking place at St. Mary’s Church in Melmount at 10 a.m. Angela will then be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
The Carlin family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Foyle Hospice. Contributions can be sent to Quigley Funeral Directors at 1A Newtown Place, Strabane.
During this difficult time, the family respectfully asks for privacy between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
