AI Assisted in the Creation of the Last Beatles Album, Confirms Paul McCartney

Artificial intelligence has been used to create the last Beatles record, according to former band member Paul McCartney. The software was employed to extract John Lennon’s voice from an old demo and remove unwanted background sounds during the making of Peter Jackson’s 2021 documentary, The Beatles: Get Back. Jackson was able to extricate John’s voice from a ropey little bit of cassette and a piano, McCartney revealed, adding that the new song would be released later this year. The former Beatle described the use of AI as kind of scary but exciting, and said we will just have to see where that leads.
