One Person Killed and Another Critically Injured in Fatal Crash on I-4 in Kissimmee
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A tragic collision on Interstate-4 in Kissimmee early Saturday morning has resulted in one fatality and left another individual in critical condition. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is currently investigating the incident that occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 59, just south of State Road 429.
According to reports from FHP, the crash involved three vehicles: a 2006 Kia Sportage, a 2015 Subaru WRX, and a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. While the identities of the individuals involved have not been disclosed, FHP confirmed that one person was rushed to Celebration Hospital, where they were unfortunately pronounced dead. Additionally, a second person was transported to Osceola Regional Hospital in critical condition.
The authorities have not revealed which vehicle the deceased individual and critically injured person were occupying at the time of the accident. As part of their investigation, FHP temporarily closed all eastbound lanes of I-4 to gather crucial information about the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
