9-Year-Old Girl Possibly Abducted on Camping Trip at New York State Park

A 9-year-old girl has gone missing during a family camping trip at Moreau Lake State Park in New York. Authorities are considering the possibility of an abduction in this disturbing incident.

The young girl, named Charlotte Sena, was visiting the state park with her family and friends over the weekend when the incident occurred. According to her family, Charlotte went for a bike ride alone around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. When she hadn’t returned after 10 minutes, her parents grew concerned and immediately began searching for her.

At 6:45 p.m., Charlotte’s bike was discovered, but there was no sign of the girl herself. Alarmed by the situation, an AMBER alert was issued at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, stating that Charlotte had likely been abducted and was in imminent danger.

However, during a press conference on Sunday afternoon, both state police and Governor Hochul refrained from definitively confirming whether Charlotte had been abducted. Instead, they described the case as an extensive search of the park. State Police Lt. Col. Richard Mazzone stated that the exhaustive search indicates the possibility of an abduction.

Charlotte resides in Greenfield with her family. She was last seen wearing an orange tie-dye Pokemon shirt, dark blue pants, black Crocs, and a gray bike helmet.

The disappearance of this young girl has prompted a massive search effort in Moreau Lake State Park, involving numerous law enforcement agencies. At present, the investigation is focused on locating Charlotte and ensuring her safety.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Charlotte’s whereabouts or any suspicious activity in the area to come forward and assist in the investigation. The hope is that swift action and community involvement will lead to the safe return of the missing 9-year-old girl.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Charlotte and her loved ones during this distressing time. We will continue to provide updates on this situation as more information becomes available.
