Zain, a leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, has collaborated with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to provide its annual free roaming promotion for the hajj season. This offer welcomes all postpaid and prepaid customers who are registered in certified Hajj campaigns in Kuwait. Pilgrims can stay connected with their loved ones back home while enjoying voice calls and internet access at no cost in hajj locations in Saudi Arabia.
Zain has been offering this initiative every year to help customers stay connected during the hajj season. Customers who subscribe to the postpaid or prepaid Roaming PLUS plan for free can enjoy roaming internet and voice calls. The original Roaming PLUS plan costs KD 13 weekly, including 30 local minutes, 30 minutes to Kuwait, 30 SMS messages per week, and 3 GBs of daily internet. After exceeding the 3GB limit, the speed is reduced until the end of the day (fair usage policy applies).
Mohammed Al-Sayer, Zain Kuwait’s Roaming and Wholesale Department Manager, and Hamad Al-Musaibeeh, the Corporate Relations Department Manager, visited the office of the Assistant Undersecretary of Media and External Relations at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Mohammed Nasser Al-Mutairi to discuss this collaboration.
This limited offer starts from June 22 and continues until July 5 and can only be availed at hajj ritual locations. The company aims to cater to its customers’ expectations and needs during their travels, keeping them connected to their loved ones and businesses with more convenience. Zain offers a 24/7 service, especially during the most cherished occasions and seasons like hajj.
Zain’s initiative of providing free roaming services to customers during the hajj season is commendable. It will help pilgrims feel more connected with their loved ones and make their spiritual journey more comfortable.
