Indore: Youth Stabbed, Robbed Of Cash, Mobile Phone By Three

Indore witnessed a shocking incident late on Wednesday night when a youth was viciously attacked and robbed by three assailants in the Vijay Nagar area. The victim, identified as Akash Silawat, a resident of Chhawni area, was brutally stabbed multiple times before being robbed of his cash and mobile phone. Fortunately, local residents came to his aid and immediately informed the police, leading to the swift arrest of two of the accused within a few hours. Two knives used in the crime were also recovered from them.

According to Vijay Nagar police station in-charge Ravindra Singh Gurjar, Akash Silawat was en route to Vijay Nagar to grab a meal when one of the attackers asked for a lift. Unfortunately, the situation took a violent turn when they reached Patnipura area. The assailants took Akash to Ramnagar, where two more individuals joined them. They demanded that he hand over his mobile phone, but when Akash refused, they launched a brutal attack on him, stabbing him multiple times. In addition to the injuries sustained, Akash was stripped of his mobile phone and ₹800 in cash.

Akash’s determination to seek justice for this heinous crime led him to report the incident to the police with the help of concerned locals. Subsequently, the police registered a case under Section 394 of the IPC against the three assailants. Their swift action included examining the CCTV footage in the area, which aided in the identification and subsequent arrest of Vishal and Raj, two of the accused. The police not only apprehended the individuals but also seized two knives believed to have been used in the attack, along with Akash’s stolen mobile phone.

While the investigation continues, the police are currently interrogating the accused to gather more information about the motive behind the assault. It is essential to ensure that justice is served and that such acts of violence are not tolerated in our society.

In another separate incident in Palasia, a woman along with her parents has been booked by the police for falsely accusing her husband of an unnatural act. The woman had filed a complaint with the Women’s police station several months ago, accusing her husband of harassment. However, investigations conducted by the police revealed that she had used a forged medical examination report as evidence to support her claim.

According to Palasia police station in-charge Jagdish Prasad Jamre, the complainant had accused her husband of engaging in unnatural acts, leading to her decision to lodge a complaint against him. In light of her husband’s subsequent counter-complaint, the police conducted a thorough investigation. It was determined that the woman had fabricated the medical examination report and filed a false case against her husband. As a result, a case was registered against the woman and her parents for forgery and other relevant charges.

The police have now commenced their search for the accused individuals, aiming to hold them accountable for their actions. The case has been transferred to the Palasia police station to further pursue the investigation, as it was determined that the forged documents were prepared in that locality.

Both incidents highlight the importance of maintaining law and order, while also emphasizing the significance of stringent measures against those who exploit the legal system for personal gain. The police are committed to ensuring the safety and security of citizens and will diligently work towards resolving these cases in a fair and just manner.

As the investigations progress, it is crucial for society to reflect on the need for a harmonious and respectful coexistence, where violence and false accusations have no place. Only through collective efforts can we build a safer community and prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
