Jammu and Kashmir’s youth have transformed the region into a hub of enterprise and innovation, according to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinah. Speaking during the award ceremony of Pedal for Peace Cycle Race-2023 organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police, Sinah praised the young generation’s commitment to development. He noted that enthusiasm and commitment are the state’s biggest assets, and that sports are a powerful tool for fostering a sense of unity. Sinah urged society to come together to combat drug trafficking, and praised the police for its efforts to encourage young people, particularly through its Civic Action programme. The Lt Governor commended the winners of the Pedal for Peace race for their dedication and passion, and congratulated the 2,557 cyclists from eight categories who participated in the event.
