Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called on all government officers to understand that welfare initiatives are aimed at satisfying the needs of the common man and advancing the state. In reviewing departmental functioning, Adityanath emphasised the need for swift resolution of people’s problems and the redressal of their grievances. He called on senior officers to visit the field and review the progress of government schemes, with all Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries adopting a merit-based approach to address public complaints. The Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS and CM Helpline) should be utilised for easy redressal of complaints and problems of common people, he noted. A zero tolerance policy on crime and criminals is in place, and for those who reach out, there shouldn’t be any pending cases in the cases that are brought here, he said.
