World stands in solidarity with India after Odisha train tragedy: Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar expressed gratitude over the condolences received from all over the world for the tragic train accident in the state of Odisha. Speaking at an event in Namibia, Jaishankar noted that the messages of solidarity from foreign ministers and friends across the globe, including Namibia, highlighted the increasingly interconnected nature of the world. He thanked the world for standing with India in its time of sorrow. Jaishankar arrived in Namibia for a three-day visit, marking the first-ever visit by an Indian foreign affairs minister to the country. During his visit, he will hold talks with Namibian leaders and explore opportunities to further strengthen India-Namibia ties.
