Windsor Police Seek Two Suspects in Walkerville Shooting

Windsor police are currently on the lookout for two suspects following a shooting incident in the Walkerville area on Tuesday. A 33-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

According to the Windsor Police Service, they received a call about the shooting at around 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The incident took place in the vicinity of Pierre Avenue and Niagara Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the wounded victim and immediately launched an investigation.

The Major Crimes Unit has now identified two suspects connected to the shooting. The first suspect is described as a white male with short dark hair. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweater with large white lettering on the chest, grey pants with a black stripe down each leg, and white, black, and red athletic shoes at the time of the incident.

The second suspect is described as a white male with a beard. He was spotted wearing a dark baseball cap with a white logo on the front, a black hooded sweater with a prominent Nike logo, green knee-length shorts, and white athletic shoes when the shooting occurred.

To aid in the investigation, authorities are urging residents living in the immediate vicinity of the incident to review their dashcam or surveillance footage for any potential evidence that could be relevant to the case.
