While fans and Davis have criticized Disney for removing the show, Jon Kasdan had a different perspective on the matter. Back in May, he wrote on Twitter, which has since been deleted, that he was actually kinda into it and compared it to the practice of periodically re-releasing Disney movies, which made them more special when they weren’t readily available for viewing. He expressed confidence that Willow would become available again, either on Disney+ or potentially on another platform in the future.
