Wife of Sidhi viral video victim demands punishment for accused, denies any pressure

The wife of the victim in the Sidhi viral video has come forward seeking punishment for the accused and denying any kind of pressure. In an interview with ANI, the woman stated, He is my husband. I want that if something wrong has been done, what has to happen will happen. There should be punishment if something wrong was done.

The woman also clarified that neither the police nor anyone else has pressurized or harassed her family members so far. She emphasized that if any wrongdoing has taken place, there should be appropriate punishment for it.

The incident in question involved a video that went viral on social media showing the accused, Pravesh Shukla, urinating on the face of a tribal man. After taking cognizance of the matter, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ordered strict action against the accused, including invoking the National Security Act (NSA).

State Home Minister Narottam Mishra confirmed the arrest of the accused and stated that strict action has been taken against him. Addressing the demand made by the Congress party for bulldozer action, Mishra clarified that the law would be followed and enforced accordingly.

The Additional Superintendent of Police of Sidhi, Anjulata Patle, announced that the accused has been taken into custody and is currently under interrogation. Further legal action will be taken in due course.

A case has been registered against the accused under sections 294, 504 of the Indian Penal Code, and the SC/ST Act.

CM Chouhan has made it clear that the accused will face the strictest punishment and that the state government will not spare him. He stated, I have instructed to give the accused the strictest punishment. It should be a moral lesson for everyone. We won’t spare him. An accused has no religion, caste or party. Accused is an accused.

In conclusion, the victim’s wife has demanded punishment for the accused in the viral video case, emphasizing that she does not face any pressure. The state government has taken swift action, with CM Chouhan ensuring the strictest punishment for the accused. The authorities are now conducting further investigations and legal actions to ensure justice.
