West Fargo Man Arrested for Vicious Attack Outside Fargo Bar

A West Fargo man has been taken into custody following a brutal assault that took place outside a bar in downtown Fargo. Jeremy Antonio Dalton faces charges of aggravated assault, according to the Fargo Police Department, and is currently being held in Cass County Jail.

The incident took place last weekend and was captured on video, which quickly went viral. In the footage, Dalton can be seen punching an unidentified man, causing him to fall to the ground. Another individual, believed to be an Old Broadway employee, is also seen kicking the victim while he is down.

Although the video does not show the events leading up to the attack, the Fargo police have been investigating the matter since Sunday. Initially, they were unable to locate the victims, who had already left the scene by the time officers arrived.

However, thanks to a successful social media post seeking information from the public, detectives were able to reach out to the victims and obtain their statements. These victim impact statements will aid in prosecuting the case.

While it remains unclear if the police are looking into the involvement of the alleged second attacker, the investigation is still ongoing.

Warren Ackley, co-owner of the Old Broadway, stated that the individuals seen wearing Old Broadway shirts in the video are no longer employed by the establishment. Ackley declined to comment further on the incident.

Dalton, the perpetrator, has a lengthy criminal history in Minnesota. His previous convictions include disorderly conduct, fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, possession of cannabis, driving while impaired, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and obstructing the legal process.

Authorities anticipate Dalton appearing in court on Friday, and it is not yet known if he has legal representation. The Fargo Police Department and local prosecutors are committed to pursuing justice in this case.

Despite this troubling incident, it is important to note that Fargo residents and business owners are dedicated to maintaining the safety and wellbeing of their community. The investigation serves as a reminder that such acts of violence will not go unchecked.

As the legal process unfolds, authorities will continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses in order to provide a comprehensive account of the events that unfolded that night. The pursuit of justice is paramount, and the hope is that incidents like this will ultimately become a thing of the past.
