Wales’ rugby players were taken off-site for a gruelling boot camp as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup. The Welsh Rugby Union released footage of the players undergoing a fitness test at The Green Mile outdoor gym in Taff’s Well. Coach Warren Gatland and fitness trainer Huw Bennett surprised the players with rope climbing, swimming and log-carrying tasks at the health, wellness and team building facility. The viral video shows players such as Taine Basham, Gareth Anscombe and Liam Williams standing together in silence after the intense workout. Head of physical performance Bennett was very proud and Gatland praised the team’s efforts for working for each other and encouraging each other.
