Actress Wamiqa Gabbi has been roped in to star alongside Varun Dhawan in an upcoming action entertainer produced by renowned filmmaker Atlee and his wife Priya Mohan’s banner A For Apple Studios. The untitled project, also backed by Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, will be directed by Kalees, known for his work on the Tamil film Kee. It is scheduled for release on May 31, 2024.
The plot details of the movie have been kept under wraps, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film. In addition to Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa Gabbi, the project also features National Award winner Keerthy Suresh in a pivotal role.

Wamiqa Gabbi, known for her notable performances in shows like Grahan and films such as Mai and Jubilee, is currently filming another project in Budapest, Hungary. She is also set to appear in filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s maiden OTT series titled Charlie Chopra and The Mystery of Solang Valley and his Netflix film Khufiya alongside Tabu.
