Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Rome to represent President Bola Tinubu at the United Nations Food Systems Summit. This visit marks his first official trip to Rome since assuming office. Shettima was warmly received at Leonardo Da Vinci Airport by Nigerian diplomats, including the Nigerian Ambassador to Italy, Mfawa Omini Abam, and the President of the Nigerian Community in Rome, Chima Ibezim.
