In the statement, it was confirmed that the official video statement of the child, identified as Hassan, was available. Hassan explained that he was present with his parents for document verification when a woman asked him to sweep the courtyard and promised to pay him Rs100. The woman then made a video while the boy was sweeping. However, after completing the task, Hassan claimed he was not paid the promised amount.
Khan Mohammad, Hassan’s uncle, confirmed the incident and stated that he was present with his nephews when the woman instructed Hassan to sweep. He also affirmed that the promised payment of Rs100 was not made. Haji Abdullah, the chairman of the Afghan refugee camp, praised the positive attitude of the police and supported the boy’s claims. He confirmed that the woman had indeed asked the child to sweep in exchange for Rs100 but failed to fulfill her promise.
