Escapee Eludes Capture for Over 3 Weeks, Community on Edge

An escaped inmate with a violent criminal history has managed to evade authorities for more than three weeks, leaving the community on edge as they wonder where he might be hiding. Naseem Roulack, an inmate at Greensville Correctional Center in Virginia, escaped while seeking medical treatment in Henrico County and hasn’t been detected since.

Although investigators assure the public that the investigation is ongoing, many residents are concerned about the potential threat posed by the escaped inmate and are eager to know his whereabouts. One week after Roulack’s escape, a Richmond man found what is believed to be his abandoned hospital gown in his home, raising further alarm among the residents.

Living less than a mile from the hospital where Roulack sought treatment, the homeowner expressed his worries, stating, He’s out there somewhere and he has the keys to the house. Well, he did.

Authorities initially stated that there was no reason to believe Roulack was armed, but reminded the public that he was serving time for malicious wounding and should not be approached. In an effort to intensify the search, the U.S. Marshals Service has offered a $5,000 reward for any useful information.

Roulack is described as approximately 5’8” tall, weighing around 225 pounds, with multiple tattoos that include the words Cut throat on his right cheek. Security expert Mike Jones shed light on the determination of escapees, explaining that they often invest significant time and effort into figuring out the system.

In response to requests for updates on search efforts, both Virginia State Police and the U.S. Marshals Service have emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and urged anyone with information to come forward.

This recent escape comes just a few months after two inmates escaped Piedmont Regional Jail in April, prompting a similar multi-jurisdictional search. However, unlike the current case, the escaped inmates were located within a week, with one of them managing to travel to Mexico before being apprehended.

As the community anxiously waits for Roulack to be captured, it is important to maintain a sense of awareness and report any relevant information to the authorities. The ongoing investigation reflects the dedication of law enforcement agencies in ensuring public safety, but until Roulack is apprehended, the uncertainty continues to keep the community on edge.
