Vietnam to Develop Diversified High-Quality Night Tourism Products

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam has recently launched an exciting project aimed at promoting night services to diversify the country’s tourism offerings. The project will focus on developing night tourism products in several popular tourist destinations throughout Vietnam.

By 2025, cities such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Hoi An, Da Lat, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City, and Vung Tau will each have at least one model for developing night tourism products. Additionally, separate night entertainment complexes will be established in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

The project’s ultimate goal is to encourage tourists to spend at least one night in the localities where the project is being implemented. Furthermore, the plan is to have separate night entertainment complexes developed in other major tourist centers by 2030.

To ensure the success of the project, five models for night tourism product development have been identified. These models include cultural artistic performances, sports activities, health care and beauty services, shopping and night entertainment, night tours, and culinary culture and night food services.

In order to support effective management of night tourism activities, a comprehensive database will be established. Additionally, Vietnam plans to develop applications and utilities to improve the overall tourist experience. The focus will be on developing a Vietnam tourism application and smart travel cards.

The project also addresses various aspects such as urban planning and management, mechanisms and policies, organization and management of services, human resources, investment, market orientation, promotion, and the application of information and technology.

By adhering to these guidelines and implementing the necessary measures, Vietnam aims to enhance its tourism sector and attract more visitors to experience the country’s unique night offerings. This project is a significant step towards diversifying Vietnam’s tourism products and boosting its economy.

With the development of diversified high-quality night tourism products, Vietnam is well-positioned to become a sought-after destination for travelers who are seeking memorable experiences both during the day and after the sun sets. As the country continues to invest in its tourism infrastructure, it is expected to solidify its position as a top choice for international tourists.

The project’s approach to promoting night tourism will not only increase tourist spending in Vietnam but also contribute to the local economy by generating employment opportunities and encouraging investment in the nighttime economy.

In conclusion, Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is taking significant strides towards diversifying the country’s tourism products through the development of high-quality night tourism offerings. By focusing on popular tourist destinations and creating separate night entertainment complexes, Vietnam aims to attract more visitors and enhance their experiences. With careful planning, investment, and the use of technology, Vietnam is poised to become a thriving nighttime destination.
