Vidya Balan-starrer ‘Neeyat’ recently had its sound work done at the distinguished Abbey Road Studios in London. This iconic studio holds a significant place in the history of music, having been a home to superstars such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, Adele and Lady Gaga. The much-anticipated thriller flick, directed by Anu Menon, is all set to be released on July 7th.
The film revolves around an unsual detective, played by Balan, attempting to solve inexplicable killings at a billionaire’s party. Additionally, an ensemble cast including Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Prajakta Koli, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri, Shahana Goswami, Niki Walia, Dipannita Sharma, Shashank Arora, Danesh Razvi, Ishika Mehra and Madhav Deval will be seen playing pivotal roles.
Abbey Road Studios is one of the world’s leading sound mixing studios, having been the recording studio for many successful films such as ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’, the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, the ‘Harry Potter’ series, ‘Black Panther’, ‘1917’, and ‘Avengers: Endgame’. It is also the studio where some of the most celebrated movie soundtracks such as ‘Gravity’ and ‘The Shape of Water’ were produced.
Produced by Prime Video and the Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment, ‘Neeyat’ promises to be a unique and mysterious thriller filled with suspense. This project marks the first venture of Prime Videos and Abundantia into the film business. Vikram Malhotra, the film’s producer, is known for his successful works in the advertising and films industry. He has produced several critically acclaimed films like ‘Bhoot: The Haunted Ship’, ‘Andhadhun’, ‘Special Ops’ and ‘Tandav’.
