Operation Valentine Box Office Collection Day 3: Varun Tej-Starrer Witnesses Decline In Numbers
Operation Valentine Box Office Collection Day 3:
Varun Tej is back on the big screen with his latest action film ‘Operation Valentine’ and teamed up with Manushi Chhillar in the movie. The movie is based on the 2019 Pulwama Terrorist Attack and the retaliatory Balakot Air Strikes of 2019 by the Indian Air Force. Despite several delays in its release, ‘Operation Valentine’ has finally hit the theatres and has received a decent response from the audience. Take a look at the box office report of ‘Operation Valentine’.
According to the website Sacnilk, ‘Operation Valentine’ collected Rs 1.91 crore on day 3 as per early estimates. The movie earned Rs 2.15 crore on day 2 and its total collection now stands at Rs 5.56 crore.
In an interview with OTTplay, Varun Tej talked about the similarities between ‘Operation Valentine’ and ‘Fighter’. He said, I am aware of the hype that is being created around this topic. We came to know about Hrithik’s Fighter halfway through the shoot of Operation Valentine. Though the film is based on the Pulwama attack, the way we have narrated with solid emotions is going to be different. We also showcased the film to a few Air Force officers and they loved the film. When it comes to Telugu, this subject is new and will be loved by the audience.
Talking about future projects, he added, I have already started shooting for my next film Matka which is based on gambling. I play a don in the film which is a rural drama set in a very unique backdrop. I am also in talks for a few Hindi and Telugu films which I will announce soon. For now, I am eagerly waiting for the response of Operation Valentine and I am sure the action and grandeur will shock the Telugu audience.
‘Operation Valentine’ also marks Varun Tej’s Hindi debut and Manushi Chhillar’s Telugu debut. The movie is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda’s Renaissance Pictures and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment (Vakil Khan) and Nandakumar Abbineni. It is written by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, Aamir Khan and Siddharth Raj Kumar and will mark the directorial debut of Shakti Pratap Singh Hada.
